In addition to maintaining the existing heritage building, this project involves the addition of two new, interconnected buildings, three and five storeys in height for a total of 77,000 square feet. These purpose-built spaces will allow for zones dedicated to wet and dry lab research (a total of 40,000 square feet) as well as research fabrication, incubation and commercialization. The remaining areas will be used as collaborative spaces to support the research including offices and meeting spaces.
