Fairmont Royal York Decarbonization

Sprint Mechanical completed the work in the mechanical room to decarbonize this 95 year old building reducing over 7000 tons of carbon annually. This was achieved by  converting heating and domestic hot water from steam to electric heat pumps that utilize heat recovery from Enwave's district energy network. Converting cooling from electrical/chillers to Enwave's Deep Lake Water Cooling system, and significantly improving energy efficiency with a centralized building automation system and smart technologies.
