The new 60,000 sq. ft. maintenance facility is comprised of two components; the maintenance shop and the data centre. Services provided in the maintenance building included a welding shop, paint booth valve rebuild area, breaker rehabilitation, insulation shop and a carpentry shop. Extreme care was taken to ensure reliability of the data centre by preventing infiltration of contaminated air from the maintenance shop. This was done by creating two distinct pressurized HVAC zones.
