Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport Link                    

Located at the Western Gap of Toronto Harbor, the pedestrian tunnel links the main land to the island giving passengers a second access route to the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.  Spanning 853 feet in length and 33-feet in diameter, the tunnel is located 130-feet below the surface of the lake and takes approximately six minutes to travel. In addition to facilitating pedestrian, the tunnel carries City of Toronto water and sewage mains.
